It is our understanding that we are to provide for open competition for professional services whereby, at a minimum, competitor’s qualifications are evaluated and once a firm is tentatively selected, fair and reasonable compensation is negotiated.  We are, therefore, inviting interested individuals and firms located within a reasonable distance to us to submit evidence of their professional qualifications and related information.

AND:

It is our intent to give reasonable consideration to at least three (3) firms and/or individuals based on their qualifications so as to have one or several alternative consultants which could be asked to enter into negotiations, if negotiations with the preferred consultant are not satisfactory.

AND:

The Board wishes to contract with an experienced professional architectural engineering consultant for the design and implementation of a state certified handicapped access and security project for the Fulton County Courthouse.

We are therefore inviting interested individuals to submit their proposals for a study as follows:

1.       Appropriate building access;

2.       Appropriate secured access to the facility;

3.       Number of entrances; and

4.       Types and number of building security measures.

All proposals and related information must be received on or before 4:00 p.m. on December 31, 2014 by the Board of Fulton County Commissioners at the following address:
