The Fulton County Commissioners will receive bids for the DITCH NO. 2133; BRANCH 2 OF TURKEYFOOT
CREEK DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT at their office at 152 South Fulton Street, in Wauseon,
Ohio until 9:00 A.M., Thursday, April 18,
2019, at which time they will be publicly opened and read. This is a log jam
removal project located in York Township, Fulton County, Ohio and is being
completed through the drainage improvement provisions of the Ohio Revised Code,
Chapter 6131. The Engineer’s Estimate is $24,041.80.
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 153.54 of the Ohio
Revised Code, each bidder shall be required to file with their bid one of the
following options:
1.
A bond Providing for the Bid Guaranty and the
Contract Bond in the full amount of the bid, or,
2.
A Certified Check,
Cashier’s Check, or Letter of Credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio
Revised Code. The amount of the
Certified Check, Cashier’s Check or Letter of Credit shall equal ten percent
(10%) of the bid. If this option is
used, a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price shall be
furnished by the successful bidder as a condition of the contract.
Proposals, plans and specifications may be obtained or
examined at the office of Frank T. Onweller, P.E., P.S., Fulton County
Engineer, 9120 County Road 14, Wauseon, Ohio, between 8:00 A.M. and 4:30 P.M.,
Monday through Friday beginning on April 4, 2019. There will be a $10.00 non-refundable charge for the plans. Checks shall be made payable to the Office of
the Fulton County Engineer. Proposals and plans will not be mailed.
All proposals must be submitted bound in their entirety,
and on the forms furnished in the contract documents.
