LEGAL NOTICE
The Fulton County Commissioners will receive bids for the DITCH NO. 2145, TILE BRANCH 2a SWANCREEK LUCAS NO. 2 IMPROVEMENT, in their office at 152 South Fulton Street, in Wauseon, Ohio until 9:00 A.M., Tuesday, April 18, 2023. At approximately 9:01 A.M. bids will be opened and read aloud. This drainage improvement project consists of the installation of 12-Inch storm water drains and appurtenances in Swancreek Township, Fulton County, Ohio.
The project is being completed through the drainage improvement provisions of the Ohio Revised Code, Chapter 6131.
Engineer’s Estimate is $79,772.00
Pursuant to the provisions of Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code, each bidder shall be required to file with their bid one of the following options:
A bond Providing for the Bid Guaranty and the Contract Bond in the full amount of the bid, or,
A Certified Check, Cashier’s Check, or Letter of Credit pursuant to Chapter 1305 of the Ohio Revised Code. The amount of the Certified Check, Cashier’s Check or Letter of Credit shall equal ten percent (10%) of the bid. If this option is used, a Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price shall be furnished by the successful bidder as a condition of the contract.
Proposals, plans and specifications may be obtained or examined beginning March 29, 2023, at the office of Frank T. Onweller, P.E., P.S., Fulton County Engineer, 9120 County Road 14, Wauseon, Ohio, between 8:00 A.M. and 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday. There will be a $10.00 non-refundable charge for the plans. Checks shall be made payable to the Office of the Fulton County Engineer.
All proposals must be submitted bound in their entirety, and on the forms furnished in the contract documents.
The Board of County Commissioners of Fulton County reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
