Fulton County Humane Society's Mission Statement is to offer sanctuary and care to homeless, neglected and abused domestic animals and to provide humane solutions to reduce their numbers through education, medical care, rehabilitation and re-homing.

- Our Board was developed for sustainability and community awareness/outreach.
- Our Facility is run exclusively by local volunteers.

Wayne has worked in the Information Technology field for over 20 years. He specializes in Data Recovery, Cybersecurity, and is the owner of Maumee Geeks. He has fostered orphaned kittens for over 12 years, and wears the mantle of Cat Dad proudly.

Feline Behavior, Nutrition and Education Coordinator: Heather Pedersen
Heather holds two animal nutritional certifications with Hill's and Purina, and has studied raw diet nutrition since 2014. She has a certification in Small Animal Husbandry, and has worked in various positions n the animal industry including Grooming, veterinary, Training and Breeding. Heather is currently working on her Diploma in Feline Behaviors Management with Compass Education based in the UK. Heather has volunteered her time and knowledge with several local animal rescues to helping with both fostering and hard-case rehabilitation.

Mickey volunteers her time workings several days a week with the Humane Society dogs. She works hard to ensure they are happy, healthy and highly adoptable for the families in our communities. Mickey is also working on training our staff and volunteers on the best practices when working with our shelter dogs.
