                Larry Short

Larry and his wife, Elaine, live in Clinton Township. They have three grown children. Larry holds a B.S. degree in agriculture. He is retired from Sauder Woodworking as the Human Resources Manager. Larry is a committed no-till grain farmer and has regularly attended the National No-Tiff Conferences.

Larry has worked with the SWCD office over the years installing various conservation practices such as grassed waterways, water control structures, and tiling. His operation has been one of the featured stops on conservation tours. Larry is very active with his church, North Clinton Mennonite. He feels the SWCD should be providing information and educating the public on sound environmental practices.
