Board of Developmental Disabilities

Everybody has a story. What's your story?

The Fulton County Board of Developmental Disabilities would like to share the stories  of those we support. Ohio Public Images' 2016 awareness theme, "What's Your Story," is designed to capture the interests, abilities and personalities of those we support.

Each picture helps tell a story. Where you work, where you live or anything else you like doing at home or in the community. Whether you have a disability or not, we all want to feel like we're part of our community. In the classroom, social clubs, or the workplace, communities are at their best when the contributions of everyone are included. Do you and your friends like to spend the day shopping and then catch a movie together? (Take a photo and show us!) Is your little one's play date the perfect place for friends of all abilities? (Take a photo and show us!) Do you and your co-workers enjoy working with one another on the job? (Take a photo and show us!)

If you would like to share your story with Fulton County, take a picture or a "selfie" then submit that picture on the FCBDD webpage and fill in the words that finish this statement: My story is__________."

Through each story, we can show the community how we are all connected.
