Service & Support
Service & Support Administration (SSA):

People age three through adult who are eligible for board services may be assigned a Service and Support Administrator to act as a liaison/resource person linking that individual with appropriate service providers and resources. The SSA provides quality assurance and advocacy services and serves as a single point of contact for the family.

Residential Services

The Board offers a variety of residential service options for eligible individuals who live in their own homes or with family members. Depending on need, this may include assistance with:

• bathing • dressing • meal preparation and cleanup
• housekeeping • shopping • budgeting • paying bills
• participation in recreation and community activities

There is a waiting list for these services. In addition to supported living services, the Board contracts with Sunshine Inc. of Northwest Ohio to operate three group homes in the county.
