The Fulton County Sheriff's Office utilizes several resources in addition to the AMBER Alert to aide in locating missing and abducted children.

Critical Reach is a system that provides a generalized alert system to law enforcement agencies nationwide, local business, financial intuitions, and the news media when an incident occurs. Users receive these broadcasts by another Critical Reach user system, fax or email. Founded in 1995, nonprofit Critical Reach (formerly SocialTech) has deployed over 2,000 alert systems in law enforcement agencies in 32 states. Critical Reach is a proven system that helps law enforcement find missing persons, arrest dangerous criminals, enhance officer safety, and build safer communities for all citizens. Critical Reach establishes the critically-needed shared alert tool connecting multiple independent jurisdictions. At the same time, the system delivers the vital capacity to precisely transmit alters to specific subsets of the public infrastructure. Any business or organization that would like to receive these bulletins; please send and email to the Webmaster, with your organization name, contact name and phone number, fax number and email address.

A Child is Missing (ACIM), a Fort Lauderdale, Florida based non-profit organization founded in 1997, was created because no community based telephony program existed nationwide for locating missing children, the elderly (Alzheimer's), or the disabled (often unconscious). Taking the action during the first hours of a person's disappearance is very critical in helping to save their life. ACIM, a public/private partnership, is devoted to assisting law enforcement in search/early recovery efforts during the initial hours of a child/elderly person's disappearance via a rapid-response neighborhood notification system utilizing a high-tech telephony program. ACIM uses a three-prong program; a telephone database, geo-mapping system and a satellite imagery system. To lean more about this program visit their website at A Child Is Missing.

A Call to Truckers helping to recover Ohio's missing children provides an additional tool to law enforcement for searching for children that have been abducted by a stranger or family member, locating a runaway child that is believed to be endangered, or locating a child that has become lost or simply gone missing.
