The Communications Center for the Fulton County consists of eight (8) full-time dispatchers and five (5) part-time dispatchers. Enhanced E-911 telephone service and a Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) is used  to assist in efficient dispatching and an improved service to the residents of Fulton County. The Communications Officers are responsible for receiving  emergency 911 calls, non-emergency calls and various calls from other agencies and dispatching the appropriate law enforcement, fire, or medical personnel.

Our dispatchers are trained in the Emergency Medical Dispatch. EMD is a vital service that assist's the caller with pre-arrival instructions and initial care to patients before medical personnel arrive on scene of the incident.
