·Review Notice of
Hearing on Michindoh Aquifer |
A hearing will be
held on the City of Bryan’s application to designate the
Michindoh Aquifer as a “sole-source” aquifer on January 13th
beginning with an informational meeting at 6:30 and a formal
public hearing at 8:00 p.m. The hearing will be held at the New
Era Auditorium in Bryan, Ohio.
Commissioner Genter
inquired if a letter would be sent stating Fulton County’s
position on this matter. Vond Hall, County Administrator said
that we can. Commissioner Genter stated that he get in touch
with the Sanitary Engineer for direction on the letter.

Discussion on Sales
Tax issue |
Commissioner Genter
began a discussion on sales tax stating that since the State is
not notifying anyone of the sales tax increase, how it is being
handled to ensure that the vendors are aware of it? Mr. Hall
stated that notice has been sent to the media and he has also
contacted Senator Buehrer’s office. Commissioner Genter asked
if we can get a listing of vendors so we can notify them. Mr.
Hall said we can ask. He also noted that he will read the
statute on notification by the State and what their requirements
are per the code. |
