·Discuss Correspondence from Fulton
County Fair Board
Resolution 2009-552 |
Administrator Hall stated that the
Fair Board is requesting the Commissioners consideration for
one-half of the cost of a check valve and 8” fire strainer
installed for the water tower on CR J at the fairgrounds.
Commissioner Genter asked who owned the tower. Mr. Hall stated
that the county does, however it is on their property. The City
has already performed the work.
Commissioner Genter asked if it
could be paid out of a Water District System instead of the
general fund. Mr. Hall explained that it is considered an
extension of the Ottokee System up to Tedrow so it was possibly
an option.
Commissioner Barnaby made the
motion to pay for half of the invoice out of the Ottokee Water
District Fund and Commissioner Short seconded the motion.
Motion carried unanimously. |

motion to accept the retirement resignation of Carol Chamberlin,
effective July 31, 2009 and Commissioner Genter seconded the
motion. Motion carried unanimously. |

The Engineer’s Estimate on this
project is $16,750.00. This figure was amended by Addendum #1,
filed June 2, 2009, amending the original estimate of
$20,894.50.

This will be referred to the Fulton
County Engineers office for review and recommendation for award
