Commissioner Genter made the motion and Commissioner Barnaby seconded the motion. Commissioner Short abstained. Motion carried 2-1.

·Review Correspondence from Arcadis Regarding Northeast Fulton County Water System

Commissioner Genter noted that they are in the process of re-evaluating the RFQ’s now that Metamora is part of the project.  Mr. Hall stated that they are requesting to come in and see the Board.  Commissioner Genter asked when the deadline for the RFQ’s were.  Mr. Hall stated that they is no set deadline, however they are in the process of finalizing the paperwork with Metamora and Issue II.  They want to see the review process before they shift the dollars, so he is estimating at least 2 weeks yet.  Commissioner Genter asked how many proposals were received.  Mr. Hall stated there were 3:  Jones and Henry, Arcadis, and Poggemeyer.  He stated that he will get with Metamora and get their state paperwork finished so he can get a better handle on the timeline.

·Review Correspondence from Wood County Commissioners Regarding Landfill Fees Resolution 2009-290

Commissioner Genter made the motion and Commissioner Short seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. Commissioner Genter noted that Wood County is oppose to the rate increase as included in the governor’s Budget.  Mr. Hall stated that Tim Houck, the Solid Waste District Coordinator is opposed also. Commissioner Genter made the motion to draft a letter similar to Wood County’s and sent to our legislators and Commissioner Short seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.

·Review Correspondence from Area Office on Aging Regarding Stimulus Funds Resolution 2009-291

The Board was presented with correspondence from the Area Office of Aging regarding stimulus funding.  Commissioner Genter stated that there is an additional $5K receive for Title IIIB program and if we intend to apply for meal reimbursement and nutrition programs, we will need to send them additional documentation on the number of meals and work on the nutritional program through their office.  Commissioner Genter made the motion to instruct the Senior Center Director to send the info needed and Commissioner Short seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously..

·Review Bill for Hay Bales Used by Dog Warden

 Administrator Hall stated that this is for the hay bales used for horses in the recent animal cruelty case.  He noted that this will be a general fund expense and will also be sent to the court.

Commissioner Barnaby made the motion and Commissioner Genter seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.

Commissioner Genter made the motion and Commissioner Short seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.

· Resolution 2009-287 Authorize Board to Execute Letter of Support for Recovery Services of Northwest Ohio Capital Project

Commissioner Genter explained that there are applications being submitted by the Recovery Services of Northwest Ohio to the Ohio Department of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Services for $100K each for Serenity Haven in Fulton County and Fresh Start in Williams County.  He stated that both facilities are in need of repair and provide a great service.  He further noted that the repairs needed at both facilities are in excess of the $100K that they are applying for.  He suggested that a letter of support be sent to Senator Buehrer and Congressman Latta for additional stimulus funds for these facilities.  Commissioner Short made the motion and Commissioner Genter seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.
