Correspondence Between Sanitary Engineer and Ohio EPA Regarding
Landfill |
The letter
referenced is in response to the correspondence received from
the EPA and reviewed by the Board on June 2, 2008 regarding
leachate outbreaks at the County Landfill. The letter in
response reflects the Boards decision to increase the leachate
hauling frequency from 30,000 gallon per month to 50,000. |

Proposed Subdivision Regulation Amendments and Authorize
Advertisement of the Same

The Board will
conduct a public hearing on July 10, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. to
consider the Regional Planning Commission’s recommendation to
amend the Fulton County Subdivision Regulations Article 3,
Section 337 as it relates to lot split applications and Article
10, Section 1005 as it relates to variances. Commissioner
Barnaby made the motion and Commissioner Short seconded the
motion. Motion carried unanimously. |

The Board will hold
a public hearing on the Fulton County 2009 Tax Budget on June
30, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. Commissioner Barnaby made the motion and
Commissioner Genter seconded the motion. Motion carried
unanimously.

2008-517 Amend Sewer Rate Billing for Elmira/Burlington
Sewer Area |
Ziad Musallam,
County Sanitary Engineer, was present for the discussion. The
Board had previously established a fixed sewer rate for this
system based on an estimated sewer flow until sufficient
operational and water usage data could be gathered. That data
is now available the billing rates can now be adjusted based on
that information. Mr. Musallam presented the Board with the
proposed amendments to the billing rates for their review.
Commissioner Genter made the motion and Commissioner Short
seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. |
