Review Month-End Financial Reports

County Administrator, Vond Hall, presented the month end financial reports for June 2008. He stated that these figures look similar to what is expected for the year end report in December of 2008 with the exception of the General Fund.

Ken Caldwell, Director of Job and Family Services-Departmental Update

Ken Caldwell was present and presented the Board with his Quarterly report for the Department of Job and Family Services as follows:

 

 

 

Mr. Caldwell further presented a comparison of all 88 counties for TANF PRC Soft and Hard Services rendered from January through March of this year.

Mr. Caldwell explained that soft services provide no monetary benefit to the recipient but provide services to help people such as learning how to get a job and reduce pregnancy in teenage students to name a few.  Hard services are monetary benefits for items such as gas, rent and utilities.
