Resolution 2008-596 off the table. Commissioner Barnaby
made the motion and Commissioner Genter seconded the motion.

Services-Departmental Update |
Ken Caldwell was present and presented the
Board with his Quarterly report for the Department of Job and
Family Services as follows:



Mr. Caldwell further presented a comparison
of all 88 counties for TANF PRC Soft and Hard Services rendered
from January through March of this year.

Mr. Caldwell explained that soft services
provide no monetary benefit to the recipient but provide
services to help people such as learning how to get a job and
reduce pregnancy in teenage students to name a few. Hard
services are monetary benefits for items such as gas, rent and
utilities. |
