correspondence regarding Northeast Water District
|
County Sanitary
Engineer, Ziad Musallam, was present for the discussion. The
correspondence referenced herein is a letter from the Village of
Metamora to the Environmental Supervisor regarding their intent
and commitment to the Northeast Water Initiative in
collaboration with the Fulton County Commissioners. It was
noted that the Village of Lyons has not submitted anything in
writing as of yet but it was voted on and receipt of a copy of
the resolution and the minutes from that meeting were
anticipated. Mr. Musallam stated that financial assistance will
be requested and will be brought before the House of
Representatives and the Senate when they go back into session at
the end of the month. A committee will also be assigned at that
time. It was further noted that a NACO function would be held
in March in Washington DC that will be attended by Commissioner
Short. |
