NEW BUSINESS:
· Discuss Transfer Request Procedures
|
County
Administrator, Vond Hall, stated that out of the 1,000+
resolutions passed each year, many involve moving appropriations
around. Processing these transfers often entail a great deal of
time from all staff involved for what is sometimes a negligible
amount. He presented to the Board for discussion a form that
would require elected officials and department heads to make a
formal request for these transfers and would further require
stating the justification for the request. A similar process
for Then and Now purchase orders was further discussed.
