2008-793 Authorize Board President to Execute
Preliminary Jurisdictional Determination Form |
As a required
component for the permitting process to decide and declare that
the Federal Government will have jurisdiction at the airport for
wetlands mitigation, a Preliminary Jurisdictional Determination
Form must be completed and submitted to the Army Corps of
Engineers. Mr. Vond Hall, County Administrator, explained that
pursuant to disputes between the Ohio EPA and the Army Corps of
Engineers, recent legislation permits the Board to submit a
decision stating that the Federal Government will take
jurisdiction in this matter. Commissioner Barnaby made the
motion and Commissioner Short seconded the motion. Motion
carried unanimously. |
