The agenda was amended to include further
discussion on the turf runway and tree clearing project for the
Fulton County Airport. Commissioner Genter made the motion to
approve the agenda as amended and Commissioner Barnaby seconded
the motion. Motion carried unanimously. |

Resolution 2008-356
|
Pursuant to the request of Mr. Sam Lauber,
The Franklin Township Trustees passed a resolution to request
the Board to vacate a public right of way just off of CR 22.
The Board established a View of this area for May 15, 2008 at
10:00 a.m. and a Public Hearing on May 22, 2008 at 10:00 a.m.
Commissioner Genter made the motion and Commissioner Short
seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. |

Bridge 1-1F.4 Project |
Pursuant to the award of bid on April 3,
2008, the Board entered into contract with R.G. Zachrich
Construction, Inc. for the replacement of Fulton County Bridge
1-1F.4 Project in the amount of $723,126.61. Commissioner
Genter made the motion and Commissioner Barnaby seconded the
motion. Motion carried unanimously. |

Further discussion was held on the
resolution previously pulled to approve the legal ad for the
turf runway and tree clearing project for the Fulton County
Airport. |

Stan Multhauf-Stapleton Insurance, CORSA
Renewal |
Mr. Multhauf and Mr. Stapleton were present
for the discussion. Mr. Multhauf stated that the renewal for
this year is $168,284 which is down by approximately 2% from the
prior year. There were $228,000 in total losses paid last year,
most of which were weather related due to hail and lightning
last spring. He stated that statewide, Fulton County is better
than the average .8% decrease even with the claims due to
flooding in many of the other areas. |
