Pursuant to the bid opening held on
this project on March 27, 2008, and with the recommendation of
the County Engineer, it was determined that the lowest and best
bid came in at $338,719.10 and is awarded to Gerken Paving,
Inc. of Napoleon, Ohio. This bid is below the Engineer’s
Estimate of $374,408.00. Commissioner Barnaby made the motion
and Commissioner Genter seconded the motion. Motion carried
unanimously. |

Pursuant to the bid opening held on
this project on March 27, 2008, and with the recommendation of
the County Engineer, it was determined that the lowest and best

Construction, Inc. of Defiance, Ohio. This bid is below the
Engineer’s Estimate of $812,704.25. Commissioner Barnaby made
