·Review Month End Financial Reports

County Administrator Hall presented the Board with month end financial reports for their review. After review, Commissioner Genter inquired about the budget cuts for 2008. Administrator Hall stated he is working on a tentative plan. He stated that the goal is to cut expenses to match revenue so the carryover can remain intact.

The Elmira/Burlington Sanitary Sewer Project is coming close to final completion. The Board agrees that despite delays, the contractor had done a good job on the project and that it is more important to get the project finished than to spend valuable time negotiating penalties. Commissioner Short made the motion and Commissioner Genter seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously.

· Review letter from Sanitary Engineer Regarding Northeast Fulton County Water Supply

A public meeting on this matter will be held on September 11th at 6:30 p.m. at the Swancreek Township Hall.

Review Fulton County Juvenile Court 2006 Annual Report

Commissioner Short noted the rise in delinquency cases over the last 4 years by approximately 150 juveniles. Commissioner Genter noted the rise in beds used at the Juvenile Detention Center.
