Discuss Contractual
Services for Auditor's Office
Resolution
2007-999 |
Mr. Doug Nafziger
from the Fulton County Auditor’s office was present for further
discussion on his proposal submitted to the Commissioners during
Session on November 8, 2007. In review, Mr. Nafziger’s proposal
included a plan to terminate their current contract associated
with the VAX server that is being used for personal property tax
and enter into a new contract for the “MVP” program being
offered through Manatron. Said change would offer a
substantial savings to the county in annual maintenance costs.
Mr. Nafziger further noted that the general fund is currently
paying a portion of the fees associated with the VAX server, and
proposed that the general fund continue to share costs in the
amount of $3,000.00 if the upgrade to the MVP program was made.
Commissioner Barnaby made the motion to approve the payment of
$3,000.00 from the general fund for the upgrade through Manatron
and Commissioner Short seconded the motion. Motion carried
unanimously. |

Appointment of Legal Counsel |
On November 2, 2007,
Fulton County made application to the Court to appoint special
legal counsel regarding matters relating to the Board of
Elections and Ms. Colene Yvonne Beck. The Order has now been
executed by the Judge and is ready to proceed to contract.

proposal from R.D. Zande & Associates, Inc. regarding the Fulton
County Airport

RD. Zande and
Associates, Inc. have submitted a proposal amending the previous
proposal reviewed by the Board on October 9, 2007 to carry out
certain actions as required for land recently purchased for use
by the Fulton County Airport. Commissioner Short made the
motion to accept the revised proposal and Commissioner Barnaby
seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. |

Ziad Musallam,
County Sanitary Engineer, was present for the discussion. He
stated that this is pursuant to the Petition filed by Ben Rupp
to provide for construction, maintenance and operation of water
supply improvement to serve a proposed 4-lot rural subdivision
between CR 14 and SR 108 on the north side of CR J, in Dover
Township. The Petition was approved and is ready to proceed to
construction. Commissioner Barnaby made the motion and
Commissioner Short seconded the motion. Motion carried
unanimously. |
