Review letters
from Ohio EPA re: Landfill |
County Sanitary
Engineer, Ziad Musallam, was present to discuss leachate
outbreaks at the Landfill and the finalization of the permit to
haul leachate out and taken to Pettisville. The Board reviewed
pictures of said outbreaks. Ziad expressed that limited finances
have kept hauling of leachate to a minimum. Commissioner Genter
added that the landfill is currently compliant with mandated
levels as required by the EPA, and the County is making every
effort to finalize the permits to enable the process of
leachates being hauled out. |
