Administration |
Director, Mickey
Volkman, was present to address the Board. She stated that
transportation costs may be over budget for the year '07. She
further stated that this line item may decrease next year due to
new IRS regulations regarding contracted drivers. The new
regulations will decrease transportation costs, however will
increase salary associated line items. |

Western District
Court |
Judge Robinson and
Clerk of Western District Court, Judy Hite, were present to
address the Board. Judge Robinson is not anticipating any
equipment costs or other capital expenses. They have not raised
their court costs due to the availability of special project
funds. He does anticipate a decrease in salary costs due to the
retirement of an employee. |

Probate/Juvenile
Court |
Judge Bumb was
present to address the Board. He stated that he anticipates an
increase in placement expenses due to an unknown amount of
children he will need to place in 2008. He discussed staffing
issues and comparisons to other counties. |
