CORSA Insurance Update |
Overall insurance
costs up 5% statewide, local increase only 1% in Fulton Co.,
great performance drives costs down. Can be largely attributed
to Loss control. Commissioner Barnaby joined the meeting.

Toledo Edison/Linvai
investigation |
Commissioner Short
reported on a morning meeting that he had with Toledo Edison
w/regard to the Elmira/Burlington sewer project. Delay in
Toledo Edison hooking up electricity was a problem. 7/17/06
first contact-sanitary engineer, no response. 9/11/06- 2nd req.
9/29/06 -rec'd msg. 9/29/06 Toledo Edison contacted Sanitary
engineer, 1/2007 phone contact w/Lingvai 1/2007 last message, no
response from Lingvai. 1/19/07 scheduled job site visit
1/22/07-Toledo Edison prepared job proposal and mailed to
Lingvai, 2/5/07-received check 2356 for job. 3/1/07 Lingvai
requested cable. 2/5/07 could have cut and installed, gap from
2/5/07-3/2/07 from the date of transfer. 3/5/07-job released to
line crews, setting of 1 pole 3 transformers. 5 members of
Toledo Edison sent to another state, still plenty of crews.
3/7/07 line crew started construction 3/12/07 job completed.
3/5/07 Toledo Edison had job released 3/12/07 line crews
finished job. 12 days total. Pump station also issue.

CD's $357,718.75 Quarter (Jan-March); It is the expectation of
the treasurer to generate $1,000,000.00 of interest by the end
of the calendar year. |
