Leitha Sackmann, Fulton County Regional Planning -
Swancreek Watershed Project Initiative and Greenways Initiative
|
Ms. Sackmann was present to report and update
the Commissioners on a TMACOG seminar that she had attended.
Land use for the Swancreek watershed continues to be a big issue
as well as planning. Incentives were reviewed. A suitability
analysis has already been completed. Swancreek Township has been
asked to play a leadership role. Ms. Sackmann also informed the
Board of suggested committees. Commissioner Genter asked her to
keep the Commissioners informed.
Greenways Initiative - 22 counties are a part of this and 11 of
these already have a park district. Fulton County's role would
be advisory. |
