Review Correspondence regarding Water Connection (Lyons)

Ziad Musallam confirmed that it is not our
decision. The location is in the county water district, but
Lyons controls the taps and supply line. There is almost no
access. It is a 6" line and is at maximum. By code they must
have a reserve capacity inside the village. The property owner
needs to continue to work with the Village, not the county.
Commissioner Graf shared that he got a call from a resident in
A-I and would like to use a well, Ziad will follow up. Swanton
might be able to help. Ziad explained the EPA rules on water
testing. |

to award to Lingvai based upon his review of the bids. We have
1.6 M in grants and loan access from OEPA $300,000 for a total
of 1.9M for total project use. There is a CDBG Tap assitance
grant for eligible residents. Motion Carried 2-1, Commissioner
Graf abstained. |
