Commissioner Barnaby made motion to approve Seconded by Commissioner Genter. Mr. Burkhard was present to explain the need for the resolution. ODOT has informed the County that a 250 foot grassed Clear Zone must be maintained from the center line of runway 9/27 on the north side of the runway and a 300 foot area east from the east end of runway 9. The fulton County Airport Authority has volunteered to measure and set temporary stakes to estalish the zones until a complete survey of the airport is completed and permanent markers are placed. The Airport Authority has also offered to furnish the seed and perfrom the seeding operation of these Clear Zones. Commissioner Genter asked the question if the land would need to be surveyed again because some of the stakes were gone. Mr. Hall explained that Frank Onweller had taken care of the survey work and could put those stakes back. Motion carried unanimously. | |
