Commissioner Genter asked Mr. Musallam if the letter had been written and sent to the Village of Delta. Mr. Musallam responded that he had not and Mr. Hall is on vacation this week. Commissioner Graf thought perhaps the letter should come from the County Recorder. Commissioner Genter stressed that the issue should be addressed as soon as possible to get this information to the Village. | |
| 9:10:03 AM | Don Krieger - discuss baler situation for the Recycling department | Commissioner Graf asked Mr. Krieger what his thought was. Mr. Krieger said we need a baler. Commissioner Graf asked if he had had conversations with the City. Mr. Krieger said yes, and they are waiting on the County to tell them what we are going to do. Mr. Krieger added that yesterday our County employee had to wait one and one-half hours to unload. The Commissioners were in agreement that Mr. Krieger should tell the City we are going to pick up the baler. Mr. Krieger said that he would submit it in writing to them. | |
| 9:17:44 AM | Continued 602 discussion | Commissioner Graf told Mr. Musallam that he should tell the Village that the County wants an 8-inch put in and if they want a 12-inch then the Village can pay the difference. Commissioner Genter asked if the Auditor's Office could coordinate with the Recorder to get something in writing. Commissioner Barnaby said that Mr. Hall would be back on Monday and he felt that would be soon enough. Jerry Enyart, Auditor's office, said he feels that it should be on Commissioners letterhead. Commissioner Genter said that if Jerry and Sandy could draft something then they could put it on Commissioners letterhead. Jerry said he could not speak for Sandy. Commissioner Graf stressed that it seems to him like it is a Recorder's issue. Frank Onweller said if it were not for this sanitary sewer issue, then it would not even be before the Commissioners now. Commissioner Graf agreed. Jerry said it really comes back that the Auditor and Recorder are the last to know when these annexations take place and by then they really have no choice. Commissioner Graf told Jerry to talk to Sandy and see what she thinks. Mr. Musallam said he would send a letter to the Village Administrator about the 8-inch line. | |
