Mr. Hall said these are the proposed rates from Mr. Krieger as the Commissioners had requested. Commissioner Genter asked about the possibility of taking yard waste - strictly yard waste not twigs etc. Mr. Hall said another pad would have to be poured. Commissioner Graf asked if an EPA permit would be required. Mr. Hall said he wasn't sure but would check with Dennis Howell as he knows that Archbold takes it. Commissioner Graf asked when Mr. Krieger would like to see this implemented. The Board thought July 1 makes the most sense. Commissioner Graf made motion to approve Seconded by Commissioner Genter. Motion carried unanimously FULTON COUNTY SOLID WASTE FACILITY 9306 County Road 14 Wauseon, Ohio 43567 Phone: 419-337-9250 Following are the rates for Fulton County residents and for waste generated within Fulton County: Minimum Charge (EW and MSW) $10.00 to 400 pounds MSW $0.025 per pound Commercial, compacted (MSW) $0.025 per pound Demolition Material (EW) $0.025 per peound Car Tires $4.00 per tire Other Tires Truck $11.00 per tire Tractor $16.00 per tire All out-of-county or out-of-state residents or waste generated out of the county or out of the state will be charged double. All uncovered or unsecured loads entering the Solid Waste Facility will be changed a $10.00 surcharge. No livestock, liquid, toxic, yard waste, highly flammable, appliances containing Freon, or bum barrels will be accepted at the facility. There is a charge of $50.00 (in addition to the regular charge) for special requests to open the facility on closed days. The Fulton County Solid Waste Facility is open Monday thru Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. * MSW - Municipal Solid Waste ** EW - Exempt Waste | |

A letter of resignation has been received from Rupp Aviation as the Fixed Base Operator at the Fulton County Airport. Commissioner Graf asked Commissioner Genter if the Airport Authority would be looking at another FBO. Commissioner Genter said it was not discussed. Commission Graf thought an FBO was the way to go. Commissioner Genter asked where they were on the Through-the-Fence-Operations. Mr. Hall responded that they were at the point of talking money. Commissioner Graf made motion to approve Seconded by Commissioner Genter. Motion carried two to one with Commissioner Barnaby abstaining. | |

Commissioner Genter made motion to approve Seconded by Commissioner Graf. Commissioner Genter asked why we would commit dollars. Mr. Hall said they want a resolution saying we are good for the money. Motion carried unanimously. Commissioner Genter asked if we need legal counsel in getting out of the contract with the current consultant. Mr. Hall said he thought so until we received the ALP. Mr. Burkhard said they had a problem with pretty much the whole ALP and mostly wanted more detail. He added there were some errors as well. Mr. Burkhard also reported that there are problems with the concrete poured last year. Commissioner Graf asked if Whitworth Borta was aware of these problems. Mr. Burkhard said no but something needs to be done with it. Commissioner Genter said it needs to be sealed to keep it from getting worse. Mr. Burkhard said he thinks they need to contact Shelly Co. to come out and look at it. Mr. Hall said it might be good to have Frank Onweller look at it and then talk with Shelly since there is a paving experience and also a working relationship. The Board agreed. Mr. Hall said he might talk with Brinda Miller and have her handle it. | |
