A letter has been received from Delta stating they are willing to absorb the cost outside the cost of the sewer main at the deeper placement they deem appropriate - at a soon to be determined amount. Commissioner Genter asked if they had their dispute settled with the residents and the developer. Mr. Musallam said no. Commissioner Graf said he does not believe that Delta intends to pay the whole amount of the difference. Mr. Musallam said there is still the parcel in question with the developer. Commissioner Genter said he thinks the County should wait until that problem has been clarified. Commissioner Graf agreed the Commissioners are not going to do anything until that has been resolved. The correspondence will remain on hold until that happens. | |

Mr. Musallam reported on the July meeting. He did say that ODOT did not attend this meeting. Minutes were provided to the Commissioners for their review. A preliminary layout has been presented by Jones & Henry and Mr. Musallam invited the Board to stop in his office to take a look if they are interested. | |

Commissioner Graf explained the process that they go through when there is an opening on the Board of MRDD Board. He asked Ms. Dominique if there would be any problem with meetings since she still serves on the ADAMhs Board. She stated they meet on Thursdays and did not foresee any problem making the Board of MRDD meetings. Commissioner Graf asked if she had any agenda for wanting to be a part of this board. She said that she is aware that this has been a troublesome board and thought that serving on this board she might be able to bring back some credibility and reliability - other than her desire to serve and to try and make a difference. Commissioner Graf commented that the choice of superindendant was a good one and that compared to 4 or 5 years ago this board has come a long ways. He added that you have to be able to state your opinions and still support the board decision if it goes against you and then move on. Ms. Dominique agreed. | |

| 9:33:18 AM | Jan Burkhard, Grants Coordinator - Discuss ODOT Aviation Grant Application Resolution 2005-537 Amending FY2006 ODOT Aviation Local Match Commitment as adopted in Resolution 2005-476 on August 1, 2005 |
Mr. Burkhard said an application was submitted in July for the 2006 grant - for a $97,300 taxiway project. He reminded the Commissioners that normally a 20% match is required and the Commissioners submitted a 10% match in the July application. Now ODOT is saying that they will require the 20% match from the County if they want their application to be considered. Commissioner Barnaby moved to amend the match to 20%. Commissioner Genter asked for more information as to exactly what the project would include. Mr. Burkhard explained further. Commissioner Genter asked if Zande couldn't include drainage in their plans. Mr. Burkhard said he would think that they could and should. Commissioner Genter seconded the motion. Motion carried unanimously. | |
