Our purpose is to meet and share information on how we can make our families lives easier while supporting one another through tears, laughter, and friendship. With the exception of December events we will meet on the third Tuesday of selected months from 6:30p.m. until 8:00p.m. At the Fulton County Board of DD. Please refer back to our website frequently for updates and contact information!

SPECIAL EVENT**** Note time and day Christmas Respite Opportunity: WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 17TH 2008 FROM 6:30PM TO 9:00PM . We provide FREE Respite for your child with special needs. This is a chance for caretakers to have the time to Christmas Shop or have a relaxed opportunity to spend time with a significant other.
RSVP MUST BE GIVEN PRIOR Wednesday December 10th. Space is limited so call soon!

The MFE/ IEP process.
What a parent’s role is in preparing for an MFE and IEP as well as the process and guidelines the schools need to follow to meet state requirements.
What the goals mean and how the teachers measure these goals.
RSVP is required by January 16TH 2009 for attendance as well as babysitting.
